11-year-old makes bracelets to raise money for the Marion County Humane Society

WHITE HALL, W.Va. (WBOY) — If you attended the White Hall Farmers & Artisans Market over the summer, you might have seen a booth selling homemade friendship bracelets.

These bracelets were made by 11-year-old, Eliza Winans, who sold them in many different styles, including Taylor Swift, Inside Out, WVU and even custom ones. But no matter the design, they all served the same purpose, to raise money for the Marion County Humane Society.

In total, Winans raised $600 for the humane society. She told 12 News that the idea came from wanting to do something new.
