NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Education advocates are pushing for new legislation to be brought forward at the next legislative session in Tennessee that could put students in a holding cell for up to three days if they make a threat against a school.
School threats have been an ongoing issue this school year, with a sharp jump in reports of them in Tennessee following the deadly shooting at a Georgia high school in early September.
