DANVILLE, Ky. — The Lincoln Memorial men’s and women’s track and field teams got the 2024-25 campaign underway on Saturday, Dec. 7, at Centre College in the Centre First Chance meet. Several Railsplitters had impressive showings with some even capturing wins in their respective events.
Included in that was Rogersville native Harper Russell, who took first place in the mile run with a time of 5:23.72. Sprinter Ereyonna Gore also won the women’s 800 with a time of 2:27.90. LMU’s Theresa Brosthaus took second in the 800 with a time of 2:29.90.
