NEWPORT — Rural Medical Services (RMS) continues to grow and serve more patients throughout the area. RMS CEO George Barton recently spoke to the Kiwanis Club of Newport about RMS’ growth.
He explained RMS is a federally qualified health center and not a medical practice. He said it is a community health center offering medical, dental and behavioral health services as well as case management, diabetes education, care coordination, insurance enrollment, telehealth services and migrant health services.
