WHITE PINE, Tenn. (WATE) — The state of Tennessee is loaning $1,292,500 to White Pine, Dandridge, Jacksboro and Caryville/Jacksboro Utilities Commission for water improvements, Governor Lee and the Tennessee Department of Environment Conservation commissioner announced Wednesday.
The State Revolving Fund Loan Program is giving White Pine two loans — totaling $650,000 — for “collection system rehabilitation” and the “design of a new water storage tank,” according to a press release from a state spokesperson.

The program is also loaning Dandridge $400,000 for “infiltration and inflow corrections, including planning and design for the rehabilitation/replacement of sewer lines and the replacement of manholes.”
Additionally, Jacksboro and the Caryville/Jacksboro Utilities Commission were approved for $242,500 in loans for “wastewater treatment plant improvements.” The city of Fayetteville in Middle Tennessee is also set to receive loans…
