House committee approves Zorn’s plan to support education of children in military families
In November, it was announced that the House Education Committee approved Zorn’s bill that would encourage Michigan schools to better accommodate students who frequently change schools because of their parents’ military service.
The bill helps establish the Purple Star Program , a program that certifies schools that support military children enduring frequent relocation.
