Eastern Hancock sophomore guard Kenzie Koch scored 34 points and went over the 1,000-point mark of her career in a 55-44 girls basketball victory over visiting New Castle Tuesday.
Ranked No. 9 in Class 2A by the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association, the Royals improved to 16-2 on the season. New Castle dropped to 4-12.
Koch also broke her mark for most points in a single season with 506. She had 498 as a freshman and has 1,004 for her career…
