Blue Raiders return home with nine medals from the Ed Temple Classic

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee Track & Field had a successful trip to Nashville, Tenn. to compete in the Ed Temple Classic, taking home nine medals. Five of those medals came from field events and the other four came from track events.

Bridgett Annan was the lone Blue Raider to take home a gold medal, doing so in the Women’s 400 meter. Annan recorded a time of 57.65 seconds, a new personal record. Annan also finished fourth in the Women’s 200 meter with a time of 26.11 seconds.

Middle Tennessee Track & Field did a great job in the 55 meter dash with John Sherman and Jamaree Jenkins earning second and third, respectively, on the men’s side and Laila Rudolph finishing second on the women’s side. Sherman recorded a time of 6.32 seconds, Jenkins finished in 6.53 seconds, and Rudolph recorded a time of 7.13 seconds. Jenkins and Rudolph both set new personal records in the event…
