MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Louisiana Tech volleyball team fell to Middle Tennessee in four sets (25-21, 20-25, 25-15, 25-15) on Thursday night at Alumni Memorial Gymnasium.
The two teams traded points to begin the match, and with LA Tech (6-18, 0-11) down 8-7, the Bulldogs used a five-point run to gain the lead. Middle Tennessee (10-13, 6-5) responded with a 10-1 run of their own to take control of the set. Tech would fight off three set points before the Blue Raiders closed it.
The second set would be a back-and-forth battle, with the biggest run being two points on four occasions until the score was tied at 16. The Bulldogs would use a 7-2 run to grab the lead at 23-18. Charlize Williams would secure the set with her fourth kill of the match…
