Secret Santa and Mrs. Claus share the Christmas spirit by donating money annually to Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office deputies who give the cash to deserving people.
Patrol Sgt. Robert Horne said Patrol Sgt. John Wauchek proposed the idea for day shift deputies to pool their share of the money to the family of Sgt. Rick Finley of the McNairy County Sheriff’s Office.
Finley was working part-time for the Selmer Police Department when he was killed in the line of duty Dec. 14. He is survived by his wife, Amber, three children and a fourth child expected in March…
