We’ll see mostly cloudy skies throughout your Sunday with an isolated shower possible and afternoon highs in the mid 50s. In the overnight, a front arrives with a line of showers out ahead of it. the line will move through the News 3 viewing area between 2am and 6am. Wind out ahead of the front will be gusting 30-35 mph from out of the south, then behind it, change to out of the northwest at 25-30 mph. Monday’s high will actually occur just before the front moves through, because afterwards, temperatures will drop, and couple it with the strong winds, we’ll see wind chills in the 20s and 30s tomorrow afternoon.
Tuesday through Thursday things will be quiet, but quite cold, with mornings lows well into the 20s and afternoon highs only in the 40s.
Friday, our next storm system arrives to bring us some rain, some of which could be heavy at times. And, it will be a chilly rain with highs only in the 40s. Unfortunately, for you snow lovers, the snow stays well north up into Tennessee. But, as the system exits out on Saturday, behind the front, there could be a changeover to some light snow. We don’t expect any travel issues with type of scenario…
