Tuesday night Conference USA action returns with Middle Tennessee hosting Kennesaw State in Week 8 of the 2024 college football season. With a combined 1-10 record, the Blue Raiders and Owls are both hungry to break into the win column and turn momentum around for the second half of ’24.
Kennesaw State is in its first FBS season, and as expected, it has been a struggle for coach Brian Bohannon’s squad. The Owls have lost all five games by double digits, including the Conference USA opener against Jacksonville State 63-24 on Oct. 4.
It’s also a new era at Middle Tennessee. Former Vanderbilt coach Derek Mason is in its first year in charge, but with significant offseason roster turnover, the Blue Raiders are off to a 1-5 start.
