Tennessee family pushes for childhood cancer awareness license plates

CORRYTON, Tenn. — Tillery Phillips, 11, greets the world with a beaming smile and an infectious laugh. At first glance, you wouldn’t guess she was diagnosed with cancer at just 15 months old.

“Tillery was diagnosed with a low-grade glioma brain tumor in September 2014,” her mother said. “She is still on treatment.”

Now, the Phillips family is taking on a new mission: bringing childhood cancer awareness license plates to Tennessee…
