We asked Wilson County public high school administrators to name students who excelled during the first quarter of the school year. These are students they deemed worthy of recognition.
Wilson Central High School: Meredith Eller is a junior golfer who tied for first place in the region tournament, Wilson Central Principal Jennifer Ankney said. She qualified for the girls state tournament and tied for 13th place in Division I Class AA. Meredith is also an excellent student who takes the most challenging courses and is involved in extracurricular clubs.
Mt. Juliet High School: Senior Chase Carda helped organize and lead an information session for students signed up to take the PSAT/SAT college admissions exam that included a Google classroom with instructions, practice math problems and more, according to Mt.
