Kaiser’s health plan earns five-star rating December 11, 2024 Credit: newsbreak.com Kaiser Permanente Northern California announced Monday its health plan has once again been recognized with a five-star rating in patient and member care across multiple specialties, according to the annual Health Care Quality Report Card released by California’s Office of the Patient Advocate (OPA). Kaiser Permanente’s Northern and Southern California five-star health plan ratings — the highest in the state — are the only two to receive OPA’s highest rating for “quality of medical care.” Kaiser Permanente Northern and Southern California health plans have achieved five-star ratings for overall clinical effectiveness in behavioral and mental health care for six consecutive years.
