Suspected Drunken Motorist Triggers Fatality Crash in Riverside

A 38-year-old resident of Norco was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving for allegedly triggering a three-vehicle crash in Riverside that killed a 75-year-old woman, who was behind the wheel of an SUV, authorities said.

Officers were dispatched at 6:30 p.m. Saturday to the crash scene at the intersection of Collett Avenue and Stonewall Drive, said Riverside police Sgt. Tim Jensen.

The 75-year-old woman had slowed her eastbound white 2005 Jeep Liberty on Collett Avenue to make a left turn onto Stonewall Drive, when it was rear ended by a gray 2014 Toyota Tundra, that was driven by the 38-year-old Norco resident, Jensen said…
