Proposed Oklahoma laws would limit cannabis purchases, ban ‘tube men’ advertising

Newly proposed legislation would place a limit on the amount of medical marijuana that can be purchased from an Oklahoma dispensary.

The bill is one of several filed in advance of the legislative session that begins in February . Lawmakers have until Jan. 16 to file new bills.

State could limit weekly purchases of marijuana

As written, Senate Bill 320 would cap purchases at 2.5 ounces, or 70.9 grams of cannabis, in a single week. The author is state Sen. George Burns, R-Pollard.

State law already limits the amount of marijuana that a licensed patient can possess at 3 ounces, but this would be the first cap on how much a person can buy…
