LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — More than 100 Kentucky lineworkers are still restoring power in Georgia and North Carolina, three weeks after Hurricane Helene made landfall.

Kentucky Electric Cooperatives said it’s the largest mutual aid response in its history. Some crews may remain deployed for another week.

At the height of the response, leaders said more than 250 personnel from 19 Kentucky co-ops were sent to Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. More than 100 contractors were also sent…
