Tiger Woods’ son, Charlie, entered in 2025 World Junior Golf Championship at TPC Myrtle Beach

MURRELLS INLET, S.C. (WBTW) — Outside of diehard golf enthusiasts, most people probably wouldn’t recognize the players set to compete in the 2025 Dustin Johnson World Junior Golf Championship at TPC Myrtle Beach.

However, there is one notable exception: Charlie Woods, the son of golf legend and 15-time major champion Tiger Woods, is among 31 of the 50 top junior players — 19 boys and 11 girls — entered in the 54-hole tournament set for Feb. 28-March 2.

“While Woods doesn’t have the resume of his contemporaries, the sophomore has a swing reminiscent of the one that made his father one of the game’s all-time greats, and he is ascending,” TPC Myrtle Beach said in a news release on its website…
