Vehicle bursts into flames on Highway 31 in North Myrtle Beach; no injuries reported

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — No injuries were reported Wednesday night after a vehicle burst into flames along Highway 31 in North Myrtle Beach, authorities said.

North Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue responded at about 10:30 p.m. When crews arrived, they found the vehicle on fire on the shoulder of the road. The northbound lanes of Highway 31 were shut down while firefighters put out the blaze.

Crews remained on the scene until the vehicle was towed away shortly before midnight. North Myrtle Beach police also responded to the scene…
