BOISE, Idaho — A man who pulled out a knife during a traffic stop in Boise is in the hospital after being shot by a police officer on Wednesday afternoon.
The Boise Police Department said an officer stopped a vehicle for a fictitious plate near South Division Avenue and West Howe Street around 3:05 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13. A passenger of the vehicle pulled out a knife after providing police with false information, according to a news release.
