New overhead sign structures being installed on California’s Highway 101 necessitating lane closures

MARIN COUNTY, CA – Motorists on US-101 should prepare for nightly ramp and lane closures this week. From Wednesday, December 18, through Friday, December 20, between 10 PM and 6 AM, Caltrans will close sections of the highway to install new overhead sign structures as part of the Marin-Sonoma Narrows B-7 project.

The southbound San Antonio Road off-ramp will be closed. Drivers can detour via the Atherton Avenue exit, turning left to rejoin northbound US-101 for San Antonio access. Additionally, northbound and southbound lanes will experience closures, though at least one lane will stay open in each direction.
