Ravenswood Manor Neighbors Go All Out With Halloween Displays Ahead Of Area’s ‘Biggest Holiday’

RAVENSWOOD MANOR — The end-of-year holidays may still rule the roost in the holiday world, but Halloween is a definite up-and-comer. According to the National Retail Foundation, more than half of all Americans planned on decorating this Halloween season.

And if you walk down residential streets in Chicago’s neighborhoods, you can spy various pumpkins, tombstones and skeletons augmented by orange and purple lights and filmy webs on porches, in windows and strewn across yards.
