LOWELL, Mass. — The River Hawk women’s cross country team traveled to Madison, Wisconsin to compete in the 2024 Wisconsin Pre-Nationals.
Showing signs of her durability, junior Mary-Kate Finn (Nashua, N.H.) soared her way into the top 10 leading the way for the River Hawks. Finn crossed the line with a time of 20:49.0, ultimately finishing in 10th-place in the women’s 6k. UMass Lowell would finish in 22nd place at the 2024 Wisconsin Pre-Nationals.
“The women handled the competition really well. MK had a really good day as did Mary and Sarah,” said Head Coach Gary Gardner. “This is the toughest meet they have run in a few years so them running well is really encouraging.”…
