The 14-townhouse complex planned for the town’s new multi-unit overlay district is being promoted as offering “a modern, maintenance-free lifestyle, perfect for anyone looking for convenience, luxury, and the charm of a close-knit community.”
A press release received from the broker for 38-44 Loomis St. last week announced that “the townhomes will start at $1,149,000 for 1,700 square feet and range up to 3,000 square feet with options for finished living spaces on four floors.”
Construction is expected to begin in March, the announcement said, with work planned in two phases. The first units are scheduled to be completed in November.
The one-acre parcel where two single-family homes are currently situated is part of the area approved by Town Meeting to comply with a state mandate that at least 50 acres be designated for construction of multiple units by right with a density of up to 15 units per acre…
