READING – In the never-ending pursuit of greener grass and lower water bills, the Select Board voted, 3-2, last Tuesday in favor of starting a 500-unit second water-meter pilot program.
Melissa Murphy, Carlo Bacci, and Chris Haley voted in favor of the pilot program, saying that using more water in this way would lower costs to all residents.
