U.S. House Dem leader turns out for Goodlander in N.H.

Oct. 23—HOLLIS — House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-New York, said he came to stump for Second Congressional District Democratic nominee Maggie Goodlander of Nashua because she’d be an “extraordinary” edition to House ranks and is taking no seat for granted in these final 12 days.

Republican nominee Lily Tang Williams of Weare said national Democrats may be panicking they could lose what had appeared to be a safe seat because she would become the first Chinese-born survivor of the Communist regime to win election to Congress.

Some neutral observers were surprised Jeffries would spend a day in New Hampshire Wednesday on behalf of Goodlander, who seeks to replace retiring seven-term Congresswoman Annie Kuster, D-N.H…
