Country, Western culture brands look to Nashville community for LA wildfire aid

H Bar C Ranchwear and Compton Cowboys — a pair of country-industry beloved Western culture brands with Nashville and Los Angeles ties — have partnered for an initiative aimed at helping animals displaced during the wildfires that have impacted have killed at least 16 people and swept through 40,000 acres in the greater Los Angeles area, destroying communities and over 12,000 structures over the past week.

Via Instagram, over-125-year-old Western wear outfitter H Bar C announced that its Music City retail outpost at 1305 Clinton St in Marathon Village would serve as a donation point for animal resources, including unopened animal food and treats, new or lightly used blankets, bowls, collars and leashes.

Boomer’s Buddies Rescue, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and volunteer-based high-risk cat and dog rescue, is aiding H Bar C and Compton Cowboys in their campaign.

Also, Nashville locals wishing to donate non-animal items via H Bar C and Compton Cowboys were encouraged to direct message H Bar C via Instagram to be connected to other organizations taking donations…
