Drunk driver who killed Lebanon mother hospitalized, sentencing delayed

LEBANON, Tenn. (WSMV) – The woman who hit and killed a Lebanon mother while driving drunk has had her sentencing delayed due to being hospitalized, according to a circuit criminal court clerk.

Sandra Lee Strickland was supposed to be sentenced on Dec. 10 for the 2022 crash that killed 27-year-old Ashley Brewer-Bailey and injured her 3-year-old son.

The judge presiding over the case issued a bench warrant for her arrest for contempt of court. Now, a deputy will be monitoring her hospital stay and arrest her upon her release…
