MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — Mt. Juliet police apprehended two individuals Wednesday night, including a woman wanted for a probation violation out of Sumner County.
Mt. Juliet police say teen runaway, 2 younger siblings found safe
In a social media post, the Mt. Juliet Police Department said that an officer engaging in Operation Safe Shopper saw reckless driving on Pleasant Grove Road.
When officers conducted a traffic stop, they found a 37-year-old Westmoreland man in possession of marijuana intended for resale. Additionally, Mt. Juliet authorities noted the man was driving on a suspended license.
A 33-year-old Portland woman was also apprehended as she was wanted in Sumner County for a probation violation on drug-related charges. Though she resisted arrest, Mt. Juliet police said they were ultimately able to take her into custody.
