Nearby business owners make security changes after Sonic armed robbery and kidnapping

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WSMV) – Just after 10 p.m. Tuesday night as the Sonic manager was closing the store on Battlewood St., police say a man held him at gunpoint, stole money from the cash register, and forced him into a car where three other men were waiting. They all drove around, continuing to assault the manager, before eventually leaving him in another neighborhood.

“Oh I mean, I’m on high alert now,” The Good Cup owner Amanda Taylor said.
