Titans Drop Will Levis Announcement After Naming Mason Rudolph Week 7 Starter

The Tennessee Titans surprised fans on Saturday afternoon when they revealed that Mason Rudolph would be their starter in Week 7 against the Buffalo Bills rather than Will Levis, who has started all five games for the team this season.

The Titans claimed that Levis’ shoulder injury that he suffered in their Week 4 victory over the Miami Dolphins was the reason for this move, but many folks believed that Levis’ struggles led to the team turning to Rudolph.

It appears as if that isn’t the case, though. Shortly after the news of Rudolph starting over Levis came out, the team revealed that Rudolph is battling through a grade 2 AC sprain in his throwing shoulder, and that he could ultimately miss several weeks as a result of the injury…
