4-star recruit Ladarian Clardy tells us why he picked his 7 finalists, final choice on Saturday

Editor’s note: Escambia senior safety Ladarian Clardy wrote the following first-person story to preview his college decision. The 6-foot, 175-pound Clardy is No. 19 on the USA Today Florida Network top 100 and the is ranked the No. 17 safety in the nation and No. 209 overall on the 247Sports composite. The 2023 Pensacola News Journal Defensive Player of the Year recorded 57 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, four interceptions and eight passes defended in 12 games last season. The 4-star recruit is announcing his decision at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at Escambia High School. His announcement is open to the public.

It’s almost time to make my decision.
