Milton Cemetery prepares for National Wreaths Across America Day

MILTON, Fla. ( WKRG ) — For five years, Milton has been participating with Wreaths Across America, a national organization whose mission is to remember, honor and teach the sacrifices made by veterans.

“We’re very honored to be able to do this here at our location,” Milton Economic Development Director Stephen Presteaster said. “Milton Historic Cemetery has over 368 veterans, all the way from the American Revolution to now that are actually buried at this cemetery.”

Prestesater said this ceremony is a great opportunity for the community to reflect on the sacrifices made by each veteran.
