We’re waking up to gorgeous sunshine on this final Friday of 2024! Temperatures early this morning are on either side of 20 degrees, but this afternoon we’ll warm up to the low 40s (right where we should be this time of year). The afternoon stays sunny, but clouds increase this evening, and temperatures fall back to the upper 20s ahead of a very unsettled stretch.
That stretch begins Saturday morning with a surge of moisture out ahead of our next storm. While we’ll start the day with mostly showers, we could see a few small pockets of freezing rain early Saturday morning. Be very careful if you have plans to get on the road! Saturday afternoon brings more showers, but as temperatures warm to the low and mid 40s, we don’t have to worry about any wintry precipitation.
Sunday morning will be showery as well. We catch a small break Sunday afternoon, but late Sunday night, rain returns and gets heavier into Monday morning…
