The Borden Flats Lighthouse, the iconic red-and-white striped landmark in the middle of Mount Hope Bay between Fall River and Somerset, has beamed its signal all the way across the country — a segment appeared on NBC’s “Today” program on Monday morning .
Earlier this year, longtime owner Kevin Ferias put the lighthouse on the real estate market for $1.25 million, hoping to retire after seven years of maintaining it and its unique, and wildly successful, overnight lighthouse-keeper program.
