Rhode Island Liquor Operators Collaborative (RILOC) hosted a meet-and-greet event for its retailer and trade members on Nov. 4 at Gooseneck Vineyards. The trade association networking event also served as a showcase for the vineyard and winery’s new tasting room on Tower Road in North Kingstown. Named after the picturesque cove along Newport’s Ocean Drive, Gooseneck Vineyards was founded by Paul Fede and his cousin, Liana Buonanno. The winery offers 10 varietals sourced from fine grapes grown around the world, including its Brut Rosé, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay and Picpoul de Pinet varietals. The wines are distributed in the state via Southern Glazer’s Beverage Company – Copley division.
