SAN ANTONIO — A Bexar County judge ordered that three dogs that mauled a 1-year-old boy to death at his babysitter’s home this month will have to be euthanized, barring an appeal from their owner.
Heather Rodriguez, who attended the hearing via Zoom from the Bexar County jail, put her head in her hands as Precinct 4 Judge Michele Garcia made her ruling, saying her animals met the definition of a dangerous dog. Rodriguez has 10 days to appeal the decision, should she choose to.
