Boardman police are investigating two thefts last week at the Dollar General at 859 E. Midlothian Blvd. In both thefts, reports showed that laundry detergent was stolen.
The first theft occurred about 3 p.m. Sept. 11.
According to the police report, an employee of the store discovered the rear alarm going off and discovered that someone stole items and fled on foot out the rear south-facing door. After reviewing the store’s video surveillance system, it was discovered that three laundry detergent items were taken . Store employees believed other items may have been stolen.
