A man is facing several charges after state police say he burglarized a police officer’s home in Lawrence County and spit on a trooper after his arrest.
State police said they responded to a report of a burglary on Wednesday at around 10:33 p.m. at a home on Fifth Street in Bessemer Borough.
While on the way to the call, troopers were informed that the resident inside was a police officer and was attempting to place the suspect, 33-year-old Evan Degaton of Butler, into custody, but he was actively fighting back…
