Red Kettle Campaign continues to raise money for the Salvation Army

CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) — About two weeks away from the Red Kettle Campaign wrapping up, volunteers are still out ringing the bell to bring in money for the Salvation Army.

Wednesday, Sam Covelli of Covelli Enterprises was stationed outside the Canfield Panera. He says ringing the bell is something he looks forward to every year.

The goal is to raise $100,000 to support year-round efforts such as community meals, which have fed over 40,000 people for free. So far they’ve reached about a third of that goal…
