Week 10: It’s 2A vs. 6A as Central Clarion visits Butler Powered by Hunter’s Station Golf Course

In a rare Class 2A vs. 6A matchup, unbeaten Central Clarion travels to Class 6A Butler Friday night as part of a nine-game schedule involving District 9 teams in the final week of the regular season.

Two more games kick off Saturday with Coudersport visiting Keystone and Punxsutawney traveling to Sharpsville.

The 9-0 Wildcats take on the 4-5 Golden Tornado, technically a WPIAL program but not eligible for the playoffs because of playing an independent schedule. Butler hasn’t had a winning season since 1997, but did go 5-5 in 2021. It went winless in 2018-19 at 0-20 overall…
