4 Red Crossers from Connecticut are aiding wildfire evacuees in Southern California

LOS ANGELES — As wildfires ravage Southern California, destroy communities and leave countless people homeless, volunteers from across the country are stepping up.

These volunteers include more than 350 American Red Cross workers, who are helping make sure no one endures these hardships alone. According to a release from the Red Cross, volunteers are coordinating closely with partners to provide food, shelter, emotional support and other significant services.
