19-year-old facing murder charges for Banbury Place double homicide

FLINT, Mich. (WJRT) – Police arrested a 19-year-old man accused of shooting and killing two teens inside a residence on Flint’s north side hours after a related homicide in Beecher.

Court records show Ryan Michael Davis was arraigned on the following 17 charges in connection with the shooting deaths of 13-year-old and 15-year-old boys in the 1300 block of Banbury Place:

  • Two counts of first-degree murder.
  • Three counts of assault with intent to murder.
  • Two counts of shooting inside or at a building causing death.
  • Gang membership.
  • Using a computer to commit a crime.
  • Eight weapons charges.

The double shooting on June 26 claimed the lives of 15-year-old Dom Ward, who played football at New Standard Academy, and 13-year-old Dontavis Moore, who also attended the school.

The crime happened hours after a deadly shootout on Hilton Lane in Beecher claimed the life of 17-year-old Khamani Lindsey and left another 17-year-old badly injured…
