Gonzalez, Carlisle won’t vote until new board member seated
SOUTH HOLLAND, Ill. (January 16, 2025) – With the first quorum since December 20 and an agenda packed with action items, it looked like Thornton Township Board of Trustees might accomplish some longstanding business at its regular meeting on January 13.
However, the meeting ended shortly after it began, with Trustees Chris Gonzalez and Carmen Carlisle walking out soon after roll call.
Supervisor Tiffany Henyard started the meeting by leading the room in the Pledge of Allegiance. She then asked her assistant, William Moore, to offer an opening prayer.
