Celebrating Educational Excellence: Coatesville’s 2024 Scholarship Awardees

COATESVILLE, PA — The Coatesville Community Education Foundation (CCEF) has announced its inaugural 2024 scholarship recipients, recognizing exceptional educational achievements and promising futures. Coatesville Area Senior High School graduates Jabari Stocker and Akia Muhammad stand out for their commitment to learning and community involvement, earning a combined total of $3,785 in scholarships.

Jabari Stocker was awarded the $2,500 Agnes Prince Margolis Scholarship, named in honor of the pioneering journalist Agnes Margolis. Stocker, noted for his academic excellence, was also awarded the Congressional Recognition Award for his quick thinking in saving a classmate with the Heimlich maneuver. He is the founder of Jabari Productions, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit from a young age. Stocker plans to pursue a degree in film production and media, with a business minor, at Prairie View A&M University in Texas.

Rising junior Akia Muhammad received $1,285 in scholarship support from funds sponsored by Rich Saylor and the Honorable Harry Lewis, Jr. Muhammad used her scholarship to attend the Congress of Future Medical Leaders at Bottega University, where she represented her high school and the state, earning the program’s Award of Excellence.
