GROVE CITY – The Boom-Carroll volleyball team was making its fourth straight district final appearance, and in each of their previous trips, the Bulldogs lost the first set, and that seemed to set the tone of having to fight back all the time.
On Saturday, back in a familiar spot, Bloom-Carroll was facing Hartley for the third time after beating the Hawks twice during the regular season.
This time around, the Bulldogs were locked in at the start, and not only won the first set but were dominant in doing so. Bloom-Carroll cruised to a 25-13, 25-13, 25-11 victory to take home the Central District Division III district championship at Central Crossing High School…
