The Ohio legislature had lofty goals of giving taxpayers relief from historically high property tax bills but most efforts over the past two years have died on the vine and they have likely run out of time in this General Assembly.
State Sen. Bill Blessing, a Republican from Colerain Twp. and chair of the powerful Senate Ways and Means Committee is co-chair of the special committee created to address property tax relief and reform. He told this media outlet relief is out of reach this year.
