DANBURY — In his 50 years in education — including 15 as the city’s superintendent — Sal Pascarella put the needs of students and other educators ahead of his own.
Now, nearly four years after he retired from the Danbury Public Schools , Pascarella and his family are asking for help in return: a living organ donor to provide him with a kidney.
