BUFFALO, N.Y. — Maria Vincent has concerns after her 12-year-old son was assaulted at Sweet Home Middle School by other students.
She says an incident on September 11 and 12 has her re-thinking if her son should return to the school building after the boy was, in her words, assaulted, for refusing to fight.
“The kid gets up and starts punching him in the back of the head and the back. From what I understand, he was also kicked in the head. Then they took my son into the nurse’s office and the vice principal called me and said I just want to tell you your son did nothing wrong, but he was assaulted. She did not tell me the extent, so I went to the school and she showed me his back, which there was significant bruising on the right side of his back.”…
